Grace For Asia :: Grace For Asia

Welcome to Grace For Asia

Grace for Asia is an expression of the new “glocal” reality. The world is shrinking due to technological advances, the break down of travel barriers and the ever increasing usage of English as an international language. Today, we have opportunities in global ministry which were almost unimaginable a few short years ago.  We invite you to join us in our endeavors as we respond to the command outlined in Acts 1:8: "...and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."

"How does the term “glocal” resonate with your current reality?"  Please share with us your thoughts and comments. We would also love to hear of your desire to participate in our projects.  Click here

Loaves, Fish & Bibles
Written by Leia Darett
Loaves, Fish & BiblesWhat do loaves, fish, and Bibles have in common?  The answer is that God still multiplies a gift from the heart.  Consider this miraculous story from one of Grace for Asia’s Bible distribution teams.   On every distribution trip, up to 5 different sites are visited where Bibles are handed out to very eager recipients.  Prior to the site visits, the teams carefully designate the number of Bibles they will be distributing at each site.  They do this to ensure that the need for Bibles at each site is adequately met.   Most of the recipients are receiving a Bible for the very first time in their lives, so the numbers are carefully calculated.

Old Rugged Cross Church Construction Project 3/08
Written by Leia Darett
Grace for Asia recently sent a team to help with the construction of a church whose building was destroyed by a typhoon.   The “Krus Na Ligas Baptist Church”, or “Old Rugged Cross Baptist Church” (a member of CBAP), in Quezon City, Philippines, had begun reconstruction efforts by erecting a new building.  However, many more resources were needed to help with the project.  That’s where the efforts of Stan Smith, Greg Rivera, Matt Alder, and Joe Grabowski came in handy.    Between February 4 – February 16, they contributed their labor and efforts to help with tiling, flooring, cement work, painting, finishing, etc.   Here, you can see some of the progress from their hard work!
